The Port Administration of Lázaro Cárdenas (APILAC), carries out sanitation activities from the beginning of the contingency in our country, carrying out this activity in the main areas of congregation of people, guaranteeing the prevention and care of personnel and work areas of the Port Lazaro Cardenas.
The Director General of APILAC, Raúl Antonio Correa Arenas pointed out that priority has been given to cleaning these areas to reduce the risk of contagion and for operations to continue 24 hours a day, as has been done by men and women who They are part of terminals and port facilities, shipping lines, customs agents, shipping agents, transporters, railways, service providers and authorities.
The main spaces that were sanitized as of July 12 are the corporate building and Business Center, the accesses of Tower 1, Tower 5, the Area of Logistics Services for Motor Transport (ASLA), as well as the main roads of the port area.
This important work is followed up under the protocols of the Ministry of Health and the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the International Maritime Organization and will continue to be carried out weekly.
Becoming a priority, we have the support of the H. Fire Department, surveillance and maintenance personnel to comply with the measures and means necessary to raise awareness throughout the port community to maintain care from their work area.
With this permanent campaign, the merchandise and basic necessities that arrive and board from this port, as well as all types of cargo, will fulfill the distribution of cargo to the main points of the Mexican Republic and other destinations abroad.
