Port of Lázaro Cárdenas presents a 25% growth in Total Cargo Operation in June
According to the capacity and efficiency of the Port of Lázaro Cárdenas, as of June, a growth of 25% was reported in the total cargo operation, registering 15,575,866 tons, a figure higher than the 12,411,098 tons handled in the same period, but in the year 2021.
In relation to high-altitude traffic, it corresponded to 85% of the total cargo, imports concentrating 53%, meanwhile exports registered 32%, and cabotage registered 15% of the total operated, 14% corresponding to cabotage. input.
For the issue of the arrival of ships, 816 vessels were registered, a figure higher than the 691 vessels that were received in the same period of 2021. The participation of arrivals in containerized cargo registers 58%, followed by carrier vessels (ro-ro) with 15%, petroleum fluids with 11%, mineral bulk with 10%, in general loose with 4%, other fluids with 3% and agricultural bulk with 0.1%.
