Portico cranes sail from Port of Lázaro Cárdenas to Port of Ensenada

From Lazaro Cárdenas Port, two Super Post Panamax gantry cranes and two more RTG type cranes from the Specialized Container Terminal I, belonging to the company Hutchison Ports LCT, headed to the Port of Ensenada Terminal (Ensenada International Terminal) moved in the vessel Zhen Hua 32.

With this equipment, it is contemplated to give the EIT Terminal greater operational capacity, as well as to increase and strengthen the dynamism, efficiency and speed in the dispatch of the goods with the most competitive times in the market, granting greater productivity to the attention of the ships.

The works of the first stage of expansion of the EIT dock, is planned so that in a period of two years 150 additional meters are built, which anticipates a notable increase in the load mobilized by the port. In the same way, this will have a better connection of transshipment between the two ports, as well as the great capacity of storage and transfer of merchandise.

It should be noted that the port equipment with which Hutchison Ports LCT has the latest generation, which allows it to position itself as the most agile terminal in the entire Mexican port system, achieving productivity that positions it as the second most important terminal in the Americas.
