Puerto Lázaro Cárdenas moves 46% more Containerized Cargo in June

The Port of Lázaro Cárdenas presents a growth of 46% in the handling of containerized cargo as of June, operating 1,008,209 TEUs, exceeding the 689, 864 TEUs for the same period in 2021.

Of these maneuvers, 21% corresponds to imports, 20% to exports and 59% to transshipment operations. Emphasizing that for the eviction of merchandise, 82% was carried out by truck and 18% by rail.

This allows the Port of Lázaro Cárdenas to have a greater presence in the main centers of consumption in the interior of the country, as well as the largest number of companies that show their real interest in opening investments, sources of employment and that, thanks to the work As a team, these goals will be met, making known the competitive advantages through the sum of all the members of the port community.
